Freya Yeates is an artist based in Scotland interested in hauntology, mourning, queer ecology and the cultivation of care spaces. She studied ‘Intermedia’ at the Edinburgh College of Art, with a practice of photography, video, drawing and writing.

As a committee member at Rhubaba Gallery and Studios, Freya is concerned with maintaining and collaboratively working for this space; to prioritise care and community in reaction to exploitation, precarity and immaterial labour prevalent in the art industry and institutions.
